Mississippi Judicial Districts, Amendment 2 (1992)

The Mississippi Judicial Districts, Amendment 2, also known as Amendment 2, was on the ballot in Mississippi on November 3, 1992, as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment. The amendment proposed that the constitution be amended. The amendment proposed to remove the requirement that the state divided into 20 circuit and 20 chancery districts. It would instead require that only the legislature divide the state into an appropriate number of circuit and chancery court districts.[1]
