The Minnesota Increase Road and Bridge Tax Amendment, also known as Amendment 2, was on the November 6, 1906 ballot in Minnesota as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment, where it was approved. The measure increased the road and bridge tax to one-fourth of one mill on all taxable property within the state. The measure also authorized the legislature to levy an annual tax for the purpose of constructing and improving roads and bridges.[1]
