Snauffer previously served as a judge on the Superior Court of Fresno County in California from 2000 to 2018. He was appointed by former Governor Gray Davis in 2000 upon court unification.

Education

Snauffer attended Fresno public schools. He obtained a B.A., with high honors, in political science from the University of California, Berkeley, in 1974. He received a J.D. from the University of California-Los Angeles (UCLA) School of Law in 1977. During his legal studies, he served on the moot court executive board and was a staff member of the UCLA-Alaska Law Review.[3]
