Leonard Moore
Leonard Page Moore (1898-1982) was a federal judge for the United States Court of Appeals for the 2nd Circuit. He joined the court in 1957 after an appointment from Dwight Eisenhower. At the time of appointment, he was a U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of New York. He assumed senior status on March 1, 1971, and served in that capacity until his death on December 7, 1982.[1]

Moore was nominated by President Dwight Eisenhower on September 6, 1957, to a seat vacated by Jerome Frank; he was nominated on January 13, 1958, confirmed by the Senate on February 25, 1958, and received his commission on February 27th. He assumed senior status on March 1, 1971, and served in that capacity until his death on December 7, 1982.[1]
