The Louisiana Property Taxes on Inventory Amendment, also known as Amendment 3, was on the ballot in Louisiana on October 7, 1989, as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment. It was defeated. It proposed that manufacturing and distribution firms be exempt from paying property taxes on inventory.[1] [2]
