Longview School District Levy Replacements, 2 (February 2011)

Two Longview School District Levy Replacement measures were on the February 8, 2011 ballot in the Longview school district area which is in Cowlitz County.

Both measures were approved

The first measure sought to replace the current expiring levy of $3.39 per $1,000 of assessed property value which goes towards helping pay for operations and maintenance costs in the district for a further three years.

  • YES 6,419 (60.26%)Approveda
  • NO 4,234 (39.74%)

The second measure sought to replace an expiring levy for technology which is set at a rate of $.33 per $1,000 of assessed value for a further three years in order to help pay for technology upgrades and capital improvements in the district.[1]

  • YES 6,337 (59.54%)Approveda
  • NO 4,306 (40.46%)[2]
