Jim Buchy
Jim Buchy is a former Republican member of the Ohio House of Representatives, representing District 84 from 2011 to 2016. He was first appointed to the chamber in January 2011 to replace Jim Zehringer (R).[1] From the 2015 legislative session to the end of his tenure, Buchy served as assistant majority floor leader. He previously served as assistant majority whip.
Buchy did not seek re-election to the Ohio House of Representatives in 2016.

Elections for the Ohio House of Representatives took place in 2014. A primary election took place on May 6, 2014. The general election was held on November 4, 2014. The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was February 5, 2014. Incumbent Jim Buchy was unopposed in the Republican primary and was unchallenged in the general election.[5]

Buchy won re-election in the 2012 election for Ohio House, District 84. Buchy was unopposed in the March 6 Republican primary election and defeated Ron Hammons (D) in the general election, which took place on November 6, 2012.[6][7][8][9]
