Jerry P. Rhoads (b. April 5, 1941) is a former Democratic member of the Kentucky State Senate, representing District 6 from 2003 to 2015. Prior to his departure, he served as Senate Minority Whip. Rhoads did not seek re-election in 2014.

Rhoads earned his B.A. from Murray State University and his J.D. from the University of Kentucky. His professional experience includes working as an attorney for Rhoads and Rhoads, PSC. Rhoads served as a Captain in the United States Army.

Rhoads defeated Republican candidate Jack Whitfield by a margin of 17,473 to 15,750 in the November 2 general election.[1]

In the May 18 primary election, Rhoads ran unopposed.[2]

On November 7, 2006, Rhoads was re-elected to the 6th District Seat in the Kentucky State Senate, defeating Dan McGary (R).[3] Rhoads raised $182,738 for his campaign, while McGary raised $44,321.[4]
