Campaign themes

2016

The following issues were listed on Pinkerton's campaign website. For a full list of campaign themes, click here.

  • Jobs: The American worker has been squeezed for decades, and yet has never been more productive than they are now. They have produced the great wealth the 1% enjoys, but have not shared the fruit of their own labor. This is NOT socialism, this is common sense. If you hustle you should earn enough to meet your basic needs including your needs for a college education and healthcare.
  • Economy: Economic policy fighting for equal pay and for trade agreements supporting families and small business
  • Education: Education policy supporting students Pre-K through Community College and low student loan interest rates
  • Veterans: Social policy developing welfare to work programs and supporting our veterans
