Two Harmony Township Ambulance Levy Renewal measures were on the November 8, 2011 ballot in the township of Harmony which is in Clark County.
Both measures were approved
The first measure sought to renew the current ambulance levy which is set at a rate of $.10 per $100 of assessed property value for a period of five years in order to further pay for emergency medical services in the township.[1]
- YES 869 (68.86%)
- NO 393 (31.14%)
The second measure sought to renew the other current ambulance levy which is also set at a rate of $.10 per $100 of assessed property value for a period of five years in order to further pay for emergency medical services in the township.[2]
- YES 829 (68.86%)
- NO 415 (33.36%)[3]
Text of measure
The question on the ballot:
| A renewal tax for the benefit of Harmony Township (including the Village of South Vienna) for the purpose of providing ambulance and emergency medical services at a rate not exceeding 1 mill for each one dollar of valuation, which amounts to $0.10 for each one hundred dollars of valuation, for 5 years, commencing in 2012, first due in calendar year 2013.[4] |
