Ginny Fields
Ginny Fields is a former Democratic member of the New York State Assembly, representing District 5 from March 2004—after winning a special election—until 2010. Fields was also a legislator for Suffolk County Legislature from 1999 to 2003.
Biography
Fields' professional experience includes working as a health care administrator.[1]

Fields lost to challenger Ken Mangan in the Democratic primary on September 14.[2] However, Fields secured the nomination of the Independence and Working Families parties. She was defeated in the general election by Alfred Graf (R).[3] Fields was seeking her fourth term.

On November 4, 2008, Ginny Fields won re-election to the New York State Assembly, District 5, defeating opponent John Bugler (R).
Fields raised $45,710 for her campaign while Bugler raised $2,984.[4]
