Georgia Game and Fish Commission, Amendment 5 (1943)

The Georgia Game and Fish Commission Amendment, also known as Amendment 5, was on the ballot in Georgia on August 3, 1943, as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment. It was approved. The measure created the Game and Fish Commission, to be composed of one member from each congressional district and one member from five additional counties. The measure provided that members be appointed by the governor for seven year terms.[1][2]
