The Georgia Taxes for Public Transportation Amendment, also known as Amendment 14, was on the ballot in Georgia on November 8, 1966, as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment. It was approved. The measure made the public transportation of passengers an essential government function and a purpose for which tax revenues could be expended.[1]
