Georgia State Children's Trust Fund, Amendment 5 (1986)
The Georgia State Children's Trust Fund Amendment, also known as Amendment 5, was on the ballot in Georgia on November 4, 1986, as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment. It was approved. The measure created a State Children's Trust Fund to provide funding for child abuse and neglect prevention programs.[1]

Shall the Constitution be amended so as to authorize the General Assembly to provide by law for the creation of a State Children's Trust Fund from which funds shall be disbursed for the purpose of child abuse and neglect prevention programs?[1][2] |
