George B. Turner is a Brevard County judge of the 18th Judicial Circuit Court in Florida. He was appointed by former Governor Jeb Bush in late 2005 and was re-elected in 2008 and 2014.[1][2][3][4] His current six-year term expires on January 4, 2021.[5]

Turner ran for re-election to the Eighteenth Circuit Court.
As an unopposed candidate, he was automatically re-elected without appearing on the ballot. [4] 

Education

Turner received his B.S. (1977) and M.S. (1980) degrees in criminal justice from Rollins College. He then received his J.D. degree from Nova University College of Law in 1984.[1]

Career

Turner began his legal career in 1985 as an assistant state attorney. He left that position the following year and became a lawyer in private practice. He joined the Brevard County Court in 2002 and was elevated to the 18th Judicial Circuit Court in 2005.[1]
