Gordon Cuffy
Gordon Cuffy is a judge of the New York Court of Claims and an acting justice of the Onondaga County Supreme Court in the 5th Judicial District of New York. He was appointed to the bench by Gov. Andrew Cuomo (D) in June 2017.[1]
Cuffy ran for the same position in 2012. He was defeated by Thomas J. Miller.[1][2]
Biography
Cuffy earned a B.A. from Syracuse University and a J.D. from Brooklyn Law School.[2]
At the time of his appointment in 2017, Cuffy was the general counsel for the New York State Thruway Authority. His professional experience also includes work as the Onondaga County attorney, an assistant deputy state attorney general, and a senior assistant district attorney.[1][3]
