Two East Holmes School District Levy Measures was on the March 6, 2012 ballot in the East Holmes school district area which is in Holmes County.

The first measure sought to add to the current school levy by a rate $.37 per $100 of assessed property value for a further five years in order to pay for emergency requirements as needed in the school district.

  • YES: 1,176 (49.10%)
  • NO: 1,219 (50.90%) Defeatedd

The second measure sought to renew the current school levy which was set at a rate of $.10 per $100 of assessed property value for a further five years in order to pay for general improvement costs in the school district.[1]

  • YES: 1,451 (60.56%) Approveda
  • NO: 945 (39.44%)[2]
