Eric Watson
Eric Watson (b. September 14, 1973) is a former Republican member of the Tennessee House of Representatives, representing District 22. He was first elected to the chamber during a special election in January 2006. He was replaced by Dan Howell.[1]
On October 5, 2013, Watson announced his intention to run for Bradley County Sheriff in the next election and that he would not run for re-election to the Tennessee House of Representatives in 2014.[2] He resigned his seat in mid-2014, after being elected as the Bradley County Sheriff.[3]
Biography
Watson is a graduate of the Tennessee Law Enforcement Academy. He received his bachelor's degree in Christian Education from Andersonville Seminary. Watson's professional experience includes working in law enforcement positions including detective, officer, captain and deputy sheriff.[4]

Elections
2012
Watson won re-election in the 2012 election for Tennessee House of Representatives, District 22. Watson defeated David L. Kimbro in the August 2 primary election and defeated Jonathan Gladden (D) in the general election, which took place on November 6, 2012.[5][6]

2010
Watson was re-elected to the 22nd District seat in 2010. He faced no opposition in the general election on November 2, 2010. Watson was unopposed in the August 5 primary.[7][8]
