Derek Maksy
Derek Maksy was a 2014 Republican candidate for the First Bristol & Plymouth District of the Massachusetts State Senate.[1]

2014
Elections for the Massachusetts State Senate took place in 2014. A primary election was held on September 9, 2014, and a general election was held on November 4, 2014. The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was June 3, 2014. Incumbent Michael Rodrigues was unopposed in the Democratic primary. Derek Maksy was unopposed in the Republican primary. Rodriguez defeated Maksy in the general election.[1]
2011
Maksy was a Republican candidate for the Twelfth Bristol District, Massachusetts House of Representatives in the September 20, 2011 special election. Maksy was running to fill the vacancy created when Stephen Canessa (D) resigned to take a job as a legislative liaison for SouthCoast Health System.[2] Maksy was defeated in the August 23, 2011 special election primary.[2][3]
2010
Maksy was a Republican candidate for the First Bristol and Plymouth District in the Massachusetts State Senate in the November 2, 2010, state legislative elections. He had no primary opposition. He was defeated by the winner of the Democratic primary in the general election on November 2, 2010.
