David E. French

David E. French is a judge of the 15th Judicial Circuit Court in Florida. He was elected on November 7, 2006 and took office the following January. He was re-elected in 2012 and his current term expires in January of 2019.[1][2][3]
Education
French was born at Fort Clayton, Panama on November 25, 1949. He received his B.S.B.A. degree (in Finance and Economics) from Florida State University in 1972 and his J.D. degree from Samford University - Cumberland School of Law in 1975.[2]
Career
French began his career in 1975 as a partner at the law firm of Wicker Smith, et al, P.A. He later worked as a partner at David and French, P.A. (1983-2001) and at his own, David E. French, P.A. (2002-2006). In 2006, he was elected to the circuit court.[2]
2012 election
French was unopposed and automatically re-elected following the primary election on August 14, 2012.[4]
