My name is David A Thompson, I live and work in Colorado Springs, Colorado. I work as a beverage service technician for PepsiCo. I am 58 years old and was born and raised in Louisville, Ky. I moved to Florida in my early 20s and was educated in the HVAC/R field working in various positions. Moved to Colorado almost 7 years ago. I am running to make government more efficient and less intrusive.
  • To make government actually be "by the people".
  • To think independently and live independently.
  • Fair taxation
Trying to establish a fair tax system, thus eliminating the IRS.
Abraham Lincoln, he followed his conscience I always felt that was his most intriguing trait. He always had the country's best interests in mind, thus the guidance through the Civil War.
Lending an ear to hear the problems and issues people have with obtaining everyday needs.
To know that I was know to be helpful and upstanding.
1972 Munich Olympics and the terrorist attack on the Israeli team. Ten years old.
Newspaper paper carrier for the Louisville,Ky Courier Journal & Louisville Times. 4 years.
Money Matters by Dave Ramsey. He keeps it basic!
Can't get it out of my head by ELO (Electric Light Orchestra)
Proposing the legislation with the governor having a full read and input via committees to make acknowledgment and understanding of proposed legislation.
Well of course. We want to understand what is going on in each district to draw up common laws.
Well it needs to clearly be fair and equitable not redrawing the lines every few years. Redraw them on results of the latest census, then leave it that way for 10 years. After that census has been taken have a task force in place to examine those recent results and see if the lines actually need to be redrawn.
