Darlene Michele Soltys
Darlene Michele Soltys is an associate judge for the Superior Court of the District of Columbia. She was appointed to this position by President Barack Obama on July 9, 2015, and was confirmed by the U.S. Senate on December 17, 2015.[1][2]
Education
Soltys earned her B.A. from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County, in 1987, and her J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center in 1990.[1]

President Barack Obama nominated Darlene Michele Soltys to the Superior Court of the District of Columbia on July 9, 2015.[1] On December 3, 2015, hearings were held on her nomination in the United States Senate Committee on Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs. On December 17, 2015, her nomination was discharged from the committee by unanimous consent. She was confirmed on a voice vote of the Senate that same day.[2]
