Dustin Hightower is a judge of the Sixth Superior Court District in the Coweta Circuit of Georgia.[1] He was appointed by Gov. Nathan Deal (R) on May 5, 2016, to fill the vacancy left by the resignation of A. Quillian Baldwin, Jr..[2]
Hightower is a former Republican member of the Georgia House of Representatives, representing District 68 from 2012 to 2016.[3]

2011
Hightower and Alan Martinez (R) were the top two vote-getters in the December 6 special election. They faced fellow Republicans Thom Fitzpatrick, Tim Whetstone, and Marc Lattanzio. Libertarian candidate James Camp also ran. Hightower and Martinez received 41.8% and 21.3% of the vote, respectively. They proceeded to a runoff election on January 3, 2012 where Hightower defeated Martinez.[9][10]
