After graduating from Katy High School, Griffin attended the U.S. Air Force Academy and subsequently joined the U.S. Air Force. He held many positions there and retired as a lieutenant colonel. His professional experience includes working for United Airlines. He and his wife, Nikki, have four children.[1]
