Bruce Kyle is a Lee County judge of the 20th Judicial Circuit Court in Florida. He was elected on September 5, 2006. He was re-elected in 2012 and his current term expires in January of 2019.[1][2][3]

Education

Kyle received his B.A. degree from Emory University in 1991, his J.D. degree from St. Thomas University in 1994 and his LL.M. degree (in Taxation) from Villanova University in 1995.[4]

Career

Kyle began his career as an assistant state attorney in the 20th Circuit. He worked in that capacity for six years before entering the private practice. He also served in the Florida House of Representatives for the maximum number of years allowed, from 1998 to 2006. He was an attorney in Fort Myers at the time of his judicial election in 2006.[4][5][6][7][8]

2012 election

Kyle was unopposed and automatically re-elected following the primary election on August 14, 2012.[9]
