Warnimont answered the following questions in Germantown Now:

What do you feel is the most important thing to consider for the school district in the future?

The most important consideration for the students and owners of the Germantown School District is retaining our local control over curriculum, teaching methods and employment choices and policies. The whole community has the right and the responsibility to direct our education systems, secure in the belief that we know what's best for our students.
What would you like to see happen with the future of facilities in the district?
First and foremost, the future of the public school facilities rests in the hands of the taxpayers who own them. The School Board commissioned a community survey which collected a broad array of opinions on the future of our facilities, it's time for the Board and their constituents to roll up their sleeves, don their thinking caps, and make some decisions.
What are your priorities if elected to the board?
Support the recognition that each student is unique in all aspects of learning, and therefore fitting the instruction to the student is preferable over attempting a fit of the student into a precast mold. Bring vitality to the STEP (Senior Tax Exchange Program) which gives opportunities for residents 62 years or older to receive up to $430 credit against their property tax bill in exchange for mentoring students or giving similar services in any of our schools. Growth in the high school's Youth Apprenticeship, Cooperative education, and other school-to-work programs; and further growth in the hands-on Project Lead The Way science/technology courses.[5]
