Five statewide ballot questions were approved for both the 2010 primary and general election ballots in the state of Alabama.

One measure was on the state's June 1, 2010 primary election ballot, where it was defeated

Four measures were certified for the November 2, 2010 general election ballot.

All five statewide ballot measures were legislatively referred constitutional amendments.

Some measures were on local county ballots, while the four listed measures for the general election were on the statewide ballot. The reason being was that in order to pass local county laws, an amendment to the state constitution was needed. Alabama mandates that county governments seek legislative approval or legislatively referred constitutional amendment ballot measures for approval of laws. A constitutional amendment committee decided in late August 2010 which amendments would appear on county ballots and which would appear on the statewide ballot

The following four ballot measures were on the June 1, 2010 primary election ballot in the state of Alabama. However, these questions only appeared in their respective counties for them to vote on. The reason being is that in order to pass local county laws, an amendment to the state constitution is needed. Alabama mandates that county governments seek legislative approval or legislatively referred constitutional amendment ballot measures for approval of laws.
