Biography
Moore graduated from the U.S. Military Academy at West Point with a bachelor's degree in political science. He served in active duty and in the National Guard and was a Major in the Army National Guard at the time of his candidacy. Moore has worked in the private sector as a business executive and as a management consultant.[4]

Moore ran in the 2014 election for the U.S. House to represent California's 4th District. Moore advanced past the blanket primary on June 3, 2014.[7] Moore was then defeated in the general election on November 4, 2014.[8]
