Andi Lipman
Andi Lipman was an at-large member of the West Des Moines Community Schools School Board in Iowa. She lost her bid for re-election in the general election on September 8, 2015. The winning candidates were David Brown, Melinda Dunnwald, Jill Johnson and Liz Cox.[1][2]
Biography
Lipman works as an attorney. She has served as PTA president for Western Hills and as the volunteer coordinator for the Valley PTO. She has been involved with the district boundary committee, the school improvemetn team and the School Community Network. Lipman obtained her bachelor's degree from the University of Iowa. She went on to earn her law degree from the same school.[3]

2015
Four of the seven seats on the West Des Moines Community Schools School Board were up for election on September 8, 2015. The available seats represented the district at-large.
Incumbents Milton Cole and Andi Lipman were defeated in the election. Incumbent David Brown retained his seat. Candidates Liz Cox, Melinda Dunnwald and Jill Johnson won the seats of Cole and Lipman as well as the open seat left by incumbent Kevin Carroll who did not run for re-election. Candidates Michele Dahlen and Judy Jesse were also defeated in the election.[4][5][6]
