William L. Dowell
William L. Dowell was a judge of District 8B of Iowa. He was appointed to the court on August 10, 1990. He retired on September 30, 2010. Dowell served as a senior judge after his retirement.[1][2]
Biography and Education
Dowell was born in Kansas City, Missouri. He earned his undergraduate degree from Iowa Wesleyan College in 1970 and his law degree from the Drake University School of Law in 1975.[1]
Career
Before Dowell became a district judge he was a prosecutor for Des Moines County.[3][4]
