Thomas J. Lydon was a federal judge for the United States Court of Federal Claims. He joined the court in 1982 after being nominated by President Ronald Reagan. He assumed senior status on August 1, 1987 and served until his death on March 1, 2012.[1]

Early life and education

Lydon earned his B.A. at the University of Maine in 1952 and went on to earn an L.L.B. three years later from Georgetown Law School. He continued at Georgetown to earn an L.L.M. in 1957.[1]

Military service

From 1945-1946, Lydon served in the United States Navy.[1]

Lydon was nominated to the United States Court of Federal Claims by President Ronald Reagan on October 1, 1982 and immediately began duty. On August 1, 1987 he assumed senior status and served until his death on March 1, 2012.[1]
