Sheffield Township Fire & Cemetery Levy Renewals, 3 (November 2011)

Three Sheffield Township Fire & Cemetery Levy Renewal measures were on the November 8, 2011 ballot in the township of Sheffield which is in Ashtabula County.

All three measures were approved

The first measure sought to renew the current fire levy which is set at a rate of 1 mill for a further five years in order to continue to pay for fire and emergency protection services in the township.

  • NO 158 (28.83%)

The second measure sought to renew the other current fire levy which is set at a rate of 1.5 mills for a further five years in order to continue to pay for fire and emergency protection services in the township.

  • YES 350 (64.58%)Approveda
  • NO 192 (35.42%)

The third measure sought to renew the current cemetery levy which is set at a rate of .5 mill for a further five years in order to continue to pay for cemetery maintenance and operation costs in the township.[1]

  • YES 287 (52.95%)Approveda
