Sheree Davis Cunningham is a judge of the Palm Beach County Court in Florida. She was appointed by Gov. Lawton Chiles on November 15, 1993.[1][2][3] She was re-elected to a new six-year term in 2016.[4][5]

Education

Cunningham received her undergraduate degree from Rutgers University and her J.D. degree from the Howard University School of Law (1981).[3]

Career

Cunningham worked as an assistant state attorney in the 15th Judicial Circuit from 1985 until she was appointed to the county court in 1993.[2]

Thirty-nine of Florida's 67 county courts had seats up for election in 2016. Of the 101 seats up for election, 68 saw only one candidate file for the election. The unopposed races were canceled and the sole candidates were automatically elected. Of the 33 opposed races, only 15 saw more than two candidates file. [6]
