This measure sought to create a bond in the amount of $1 million in order to build a new gym and lunch area for the district grade school. The Superintendent of the school noted that the gym is over 40 years old and building a new one is cheaper than repairing the current facility. Recreational and lunch spaces for the school were also needed as the school had grown and the current space was not enough for the current student population. The addition to local property taxes will be up to $15 a month for local residents.[2]
