Raul Garcia (California)
Raul Garcia was a 2014 Democratic candidate who sought election to the U.S. House to represent the 23rd Congressional District of California.[1] Raul Garcia (California) lost the general election on November 4, 2014.
Biography
Garcia is an immigrant from Mexico and became a naturalized citizen under the Immigration Reform and Control Act of 1986. He is a farm worker.[2]

Garcia ran in the 2014 election for the U.S. House to represent California's 23rd District. Garcia advanced past the primary on June 3, 2014, as a write-in candidate.[3] He was defeated by incumbent Kevin McCarthy (R) in the general election on November 4, 2014.
