Roger Burdick
Roger Burdick was a judge of the Idaho Supreme Court. He served on the court from 2003 to 2021. Burdick was first appointed to the court in 2003 by Governor Dirk Kempthorne (R). He was re-elected to additional six-year terms in 2004, 2010, and 2016.[1]
Burdick served two separate terms as chief justice, from 2011 to 2015 and from 2017 to 2020.[2] At the time of his retirement, Burdick was the vice chief justice of the court.[3]
In February 2021, Burdick announced he would retire from the court on June 30 of that year.[1]
Biography
Education
Burdick received his undergraduate degree in finance from the University of Colorado in 1970 and his J.D. from the University of Idaho School of Law in 1974.[2]
