The New Jersey Public Question No. 4 was on the ballot in New Jersey on November 2, 1976, as a legislatively referred bond question. It was approved. The New Jersey Clean Waters Bond Act of 1976 authorized $120 million in bonds for water supply, water pollution and sewage treatment facilities.[1]
