The New Jersey Public Question No. 2 was on the ballot in New Jersey on November 4, 1986, as a legislatively referred bond question. It was approved. The Hazardous Discharge Bond Act of 1986 authorized $200 million in bonds for the cleanup of hazardous waste contingent on the enactment of other revenue-raising measures for such projects.[1]
