Mike Huckabee presidential campaign key staff and advisors, 2016
Mike Huckabee was a candidate for the office of president of the United States in 2016.
Ballotpedia identified seven key staff members for Huckabee's 2016 presidential campaign—Alice Stewart, Bob Wickers, Bryan Sanders, Chad Gallagher, Chip Saltsman, Hogan Gidley and Sarah Huckabee Sanders. Stewart left the Huckabee campaign on December 14, 2015.[1] Compared with other campaigns, Huckabee's staff was relatively more connected. These staffers had significant experience on past campaigns together. They all worked on Huckabee's 2008 presidential campaign. Significantly, Hogan Gidley and Alice Stewart also worked together on Michele Bachmann's and Mitt Romney's 2012 presidential campaigns. Bob Wickers and Bryan Sanders also worked together on a number of campaigns, as they are co-workers at The Wickers Group. Huckabee's staff had a relatively low amount of past campaigns in common with key staffers from other 2016 presidential campaigns. The majority of connections between Huckabee's staff and other 2016 campaigns came through the 2012 presidential election.
Huckabee suspended his presidential campaign on February 1, 2016.[2]
