The Mississippi Supreme Court Clerk, Amendment 1, also known as Amendment 1, was on the ballot in Mississippi on November 2, 1976, as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment. It was approved. The amendment proposed that the constitution be amended: Section 168. The amendment proposed to that the Supreme Court judges would appoint the Supreme Court clerk.[1]
