Public Safety: Our community does not feel safe anymore, and rising crime means fewer connections and confidence between neighbors. I will work to rebuild trust between law enforcement and the community so that we can enjoy all the great things that Richfield has to offer without fear.

Education: Local parents and teachers know best how our children will learn. Decisions about education should be returned to the local communities so that we can craft education policies that work best for our community's children.

Economic Relief: Many in our community are struggling from rising prices and other economic challenges. We should reduce the tax burden on ordinary citizens at a time of an extraordinary budget surplus, while also ensuring that our most vulnerable neighbors receive the help they deserve by clamping down on fraud and waste of taxpayer funded relief.
Between my family's engineering background and my own education in International Relations, I have an interest in energy issues, especially the intersections between different national and international trends and supplies. I want to work to develop resilient and independent energy for Minnesota. Transportation is also an area of interest which stems from these same roots. My wife is a teacher, as is my sister and several of my aunts, so I am very interested in the nuts and bolts of how education policy and funding is decided in our state. Plus, I am keeping an eye towards when my little boys are school-aged!
