During my divorce, my ex-husband took my employees to a competitor company and forced my company to go out of business.
While in the process of my divorce, I decided to get active in local government and also did lots of volunteering. I became aware of many social and economic injustices and decided I needed to use my skills and abilities to make this world a better place for our children.
I feel I will be best able to advocate for the average person in our district if I am elected to congress. I can relate to people on all socio-economic levels because I have been in so many of these myself. Poor, then wealthy, and now poor again.- Campaign Reform

First I do believe we should take steps to repeal the case of citizens, United v. Federal Election Commission, and if it's not overturned, then we should educate people about the dangers of voting for candidates that take corporate donations, I am not taking any corporate donations, that is not the case of my competition.
