Biography

Matt Hecox was born in Norman, Oklahoma. He earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Oklahoma in 2012 and a graduate degree from the University of Oklahoma in 2016. Hecox’s career experience includes working as a public school teacher.[1]

Matt Hecox is a sixth-generation Oklahoman with deep roots in Norman. He attended Norman Public Schools and both of his parents worked as teachers in the district. Matt earned a Bachelor of Arts in History and a Master of Public Administration from the University of Oklahoma. Matt is an enrolled member of the Muscogee (Creek) Nation and works as a public school teacher.
