Massachusetts
The state of Massachusetts, also known as "The Bay State," is located in the northeast region of the United States. The Massachusetts Constitution was ratified in 1780 while the Revolutionary War was in progress and eight years before the current United States Constitution was ratified. The state constitution is one of the oldest written constitutions that has remained in continuous effect.
Massachusetts has two members of the U.S. Senate, a total of nine members of the U.S. House of Representatives, 160 members of the House of Representatives and 40 members of the State Senate.
