Maryland Additional Salaries for Judges, Amendment 1 (1926)

The Maryland Additional Salaries for Judges Amendment, also known as Amendment 1, was on the November 2, 1926 ballot in Maryland as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment, where it was approved. The measure authorized the mayor and city council of Baltimore to pay judges of the Supreme Bench of Baltimore further salary in addition to the salary now authorized, as they thought appropriate.[1][2]
