Bernalillo County held elections for five seats on the Central New Mexico Community College Governing Board on February 7, 2017. The incumbents of Districts 1, 3, and 5 were re-elected, while District 4 incumbent Melissa Armijo was unseated by Annette Chavez y De la Cruz. Michael DeWitte, the District 7 representative, did not file for re-election, which created an open race between Michael Glennon and Harold Murphree, which Glennon won.[1] Candidates had to file for this election between 9am and 5pm on December 20, 2016. Polls were open on election day from 7am to 7pm.[2]
