A Monett City Sewer Bond Measure was on the August 2, 2011 ballot in the city of Monett, which is in both Barry and Lawrence Counties.

This measure was defeated[1]

This measure sought approval of a city bond in the amount of $12 million, which would go towards improving and expanding the current water and sewer system in the city. City officials noted that there would not be an increase to local taxes as the bond would be paid through the current water rates already in place. A new treatment plant would also have been built with the bond money, making the current wells in the city more efficient for residents use.[2]
