Lina Hidalgo
Lina Hidalgo (Democratic Party) is the Harris County Judge in Texas. She assumed office on January 1, 2019. Her current term ends on December 31, 2026.
Hidalgo (Democratic Party) ran for re-election for Harris County Judge in Texas. She won in the general election on November 8, 2022.
Biography
Lina Hidalgo was born in Colombia. She earned a bachelor's degree from Stanford University. As of 2018, she was pursuing a joint degree in law and public policy from New York University and Harvard. Hidalgo's career experience includes working as a Spanish-English medical interpreter with the Texas Medical Center, and with the Texas Civil Rights Project.[1]
