A Lemont Village Electrical Aggregation Question was on the March 20, 2012 ballot in the village of Lemont which is in Cook, DuPage and Will Counties.

This measure was approved

  • YES 1,401 (58.57%)Approveda
  • NO 991 (42.43%)[1]

This measures sought to allow village officials to bundle commercial and resident electricity in order to buy in bulk and allow for the village to obtain lower rates for those who participate in the program. The village would be able to seek bids from other electricity providers and choose which company had the best rates for the village.[2]
