The Louisiana License Tax Amendment, also known as Amendment 4, was on the ballot in Louisiana on September 27, 1986, as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment. It was defeated. It proposed to raise the annual automobile license tax from $3 to a maximum of $25.[1][2]
